Chapel Hill Town Council To Consider Conditional Zoning Modification Application The Chapel Hill Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., to consider an agenda that includes the following application: HILLMONT CONDITIONAL ZONING MODIFICATION APPLICATION (PROJECT #MOD-25-8) Northwood Ravin, on behalf of the property owner NR Hillmont Property Owner LP, requests a modification to the existing Conditional Zoning Ordinance for a 35.54-acre property located at 146 Stancell Drive, known as "Hillmont". The applicant requests a modification to change the number of affordable units from 10 percent of the market rate units to a minimum of 20 units. The applicant also proposes a one-time payment of $1.15 million to the Town's Affordable Housing Funding Program. The conditional zoning modification applies to the parcel identified as Durham County Property Identifier Number 9798-82-7327.
