NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VACATING AN ALLEY ON JONDRO AVENUE On November 19, 2025 at 6:45 p.m. a Public Hearing will be held by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Fairmont City, Illinois at the Fairmont City Community Center at 4001 Cookson Road Fairmont City, Illinois for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony as to an Ordinance Vacating an Alley on Jondro Avenue legally described as follows: An alley 15 feet wide being part of Canteen Subdivision, reference being had to the plat thereof in the Madison County Recorder's Office in Book of Plats 13 on page 59,being a subdivision in the Southwest Fractional Quarter of Section 34, Township 3 North, Range 9 West of the Third Principal Meridian, Village of Fairmont City, County of Madison, State of Illinois and being more particularly described as follows. Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 22 of said Canteen Subdivision; thence easterly on the southerly line of said Lot 22, being the northerly right of way line of said alley, 202.13 feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of said Lot 22; thence southerly on the southerly extension of the easterly line of said Lot 20, to the northeasterly corner of Lot 1 of said Canteen Subdivision, thence westerly on the southerly right of way line of said alley, 202.13 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of Lot 4 of said Canteen Subdivision, also being on the easterly right of way line of Jondro Avenue; thence northerly, on said easterly right of way line to the Point of Beginning. Said right of way contains 0.07 acres, more or less. Subject to easements, conditions and restrictions of record. Subject to rights of the adjoining owners.
