The Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing followed by deliberations on the following item: 2026 Amendments to the Capital Facilities Plan Element of Pierce County Comprehensive Plan: The Growth Management Act requires that comprehensive plans be subject to continuing review and evaluation with consideration or amendments and revisions no more than once per year. Chapter 19C.10, PCC, Pierce County's annual amendment procedures, directs the Planning Commission to review amendments to the Capital Facilities element of the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan and make recommendations to the County Council each year. The Capital Facilities Plan amendments include changes to the six-year financing Plan for capital facilities.
