CITY OF LAKE WORTH, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 1315 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKE WORTH, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE A11.000 "UTILITY BILLING" OF APPENDIX A "FEE SCHEDULE" OF THE CITY OF LAKE WORTH, TEXAS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REPEALING SECTION A11.005 "REFUSE RATES" AND REPLACING IT WITH SECTION A11.005 "SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND RECYCLING SERVICES FEES"; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF PREMISES; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS; PROVIDING THIS ORDINANCE IS CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) FOR EACH VIOLATION; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 4. PENALTY CLAUSE. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each offense. SECTION 7. PUBLICATION CLAUSE. The City Secretary of the City of Lake Worth is hereby directed to publish at least twice in the official newspaper of the City of Lake Worth, the caption and the penalty clause of this ordinance in accordance with Section 52.013(b) of the Local Government Code. SECTION 8. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect on April 1, 2026, after passage and publication in accordance with law, and it is so ordained.
