TOWN OF APEX, NORTH CAROLINA NOTICE OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY NOTICE OF SALE OF UNCLAIMED PROPERTY Notice is hereby given that the Apex, NC Police Department has in its possession numerous items: bikes, clothing items, electronics, and/or accessories, tools, currency and other misc. unclaimed property. Pursuant to NC General Statutes 15-12 through 15-16, any person who may have claim or interest in this property must report that claim to the Apex Police Department within 30 days of this notice and no later than November 22, 2025. All unclaimed bikes will be donated to a non-profit, charitable organization exempt under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All other unclaimed property will be sold at public auction or otherwise disposed after November 22, 2025. The public auction of unclaimed property (excluding bikes) will be held no earlier than November 23, 2025 on the online auction site, www.propertyroom.com.
