THE CITY OF RALEIGH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CHANGE THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
The Raleigh City Council will hold Public Hearings on November 4, 2025. in the Council Chamber of the Avery C. Upchurch Municipal Building, 222 W. Hargett Street. The Public Hearings will be conducted to receive comments from the public and consider changing the City's zoning ordinance and 2030 Comprehensive Plan.
Written comments regarding a public hearing can be submitted to the City Clerk's office, Room 207, Municipal Building, 222 West Hargett Street, Raleigh, or via email to cityclerkpetition@raleighnc.gov up to twenty-four hours prior to the November 4, 2025 meeting.
To speak in-person at a public hearing, you are required to sign up by3 p.m. on the Fridayprior tothe meeting. You must sign up at www.raleighnc.gov/public-hearings-city-council. You may also call the Clerk's office at 919-996-3040 to sign up.

TCZ-13-25 Poole Rd, being Wake County PIN 1723364186 located on the northeast corner of the intersection with Sunnybrook Road. Approximately 1.61 acres are requested by Southern Purchasing Group LLC to be rezoned from Neighborhood Mixed Use-3 Stories-Conditional Use (NX-3-CU) to Neighborhood Mixed Use-3 Stories-Conditional Use (NX-3-CU). Proposal to amend existing zoning conditions to increase residential development by 10-units; remove obsolete condition; increase permitted building height and adjust transition areas; establish which building types need frontage regulations; and reorganize screening and landscaping conditions.
