Legal Notice Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Harris Township shall conduct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on November 10, 2025, to receive public comment and consider action on Proposed Ordinance 380 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HARRIS, CENTRE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA MODIFYING THE CENTRE REGION RENTAL HOUSING AND BUILDING SAFETY CODE, 2023 EDITION, AS AMENDED, TO BE KNOWN AS CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE III, PROPERTY MAINTENANCE AND FIRE CODE". The meeting will be held at the Township Meeting Room, 224 East Main Street, Boalsburg. All interested parties are invited to participate in the hearing. The ordinance amends the Residential Rental Property definition within the Property Maintenance and Fire Code and requires the owner of any residential rental property to obtain a housing permit from the Code Official for any dwelling or rooming unit that is to be rented or occupied for residential use for one (1) or more consecutive days. The ordinance contains a severability clause, repeals prior inconsistent ordinances or parts of ordinances, and contains an effective date.
