STANISLAUS COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2025 CALIFORNIA BUILDING STANDARDS CODE AND 2021 INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CODE ADOPTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 18, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors will meet in the Basement Chambers, 1010 10th St., Modesto, CA, to hold a public hearing to consider the adoption of an Ordinance amending Title 16 of the Stanislaus County Code and adopting by reference the 2025 Title 24 California Code of Regulations (CCR) edition of the California Building Standards Code (CBSC), and the 2021 International Property Management Code (IPMC) edition. This ordinance amends those sections of Title 16 of the Stanislaus County Code that incorporate by reference the 2025 CBSC, as published by the Building Standards Commission and the 2021 IPMC and makes changes to those standards to comply with the requirements of Measure X, the "Primary and Secondary Sewage Initiative." The ordinance further adopts administrative procedures for implementation of the 2025 CBSC. ADDITIONAL NOTICE IS GIVEN that the proposed Ordinance and the 2025 Title 24 CCR edition of the CBSC, and the 2021 IPMC edition will be available for review at the Department of Planning and Community Development, located on the first floor of Tenth Street Place (1010 10th Street, Modesto, CA, 95354). NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that at any time prior to the time fixed for the hearing, any interested person may file written comments on the proposed ordinance with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Stanislaus. Both oral and written comments will be considered by the Board of Supervisors at the time and place fixed for hearing.
