NOTICE OF ACTION TAKEN Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance Cedarcrest Middle School Replacement Bethel School District Notice is given under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), RCW 43.21C.080, that Bethel School District took the action described in (2) below on October 1, 2025. Any action to set aside, enjoin, review, or otherwise challenge such action on the grounds of noncompliance with the provisions of Chapter 43.21C RCW (State Environmental Policy Act) shall be commenced in Pierce County Superior Court on or before November 19, 2025 Description of agency action: Issuance of a SEPA Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) on October 1, 2025, for the construction of the new Cedarcrest Middle School including a new approx. 121,000 square foot school building on the existing 22.81-acre site. The Bethel School District hereby takes action to proceed with the Proposal, consistent with the MDNS, and directs the Director of Construction and Planning for the Project, to continue to proceed to obtain the necessary and required permits and approval for the Proposal associated with the Cedarcrest Middle School. The Cedarcrest Middle School is located in Pierce County at 19120 13th Ave. CT. E, Spanaway, WA 98387, Parcel Number 0319343028.
