Notice of Determination of Non-Significance On October 17, 2025, The Town of Steilacoom issued a Determination of Non-significance (DNS) for a non-project action to revise Title 13 (Utilities) and Title 18 (Zoning) of the Steilacoom Municipal Code (SMC) to comply with HB 1998, passed by the state legislature in 2024. The Town of Steilacoom has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment, and an EIS is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2). Comments on the DNS are due by October 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
