NOTICE On October 15, 2025, Columbus Water Works experienced a sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) on Ft. Benning, Georgia near 8152 Marne Road that discharged 40,469 gallons into Armory Creek. The SSO was caused by a collapsed sewer main. Columbus Water Works took corrective action by containing the SSO and making the necessary repairs to the broken pipe. IPL0282845 Oct 19 2025
