NOTICE TO BIDDERS
REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Denair Unified
School District, DUSD, (hereinafter the "District")
of Denair, CA, acting by and through its Governing
Board, will receive sealed bids no later than 2:00:00 pm,
on November 19, 2025, at the DUSD District Office,
3460 Lester Road, Denair, CA, for the following project:
Denair Elementary Charter School – Bid Number #2025-03
New Kitchen & HVAC at the Existing Gym Building "M"
Scope of work: Demolish the existing locker room, including
the concrete slab, plumbing, wall finishes, lighting, and HVAC
systems. Install new plumbing, electrical (power and lighting),
HVAC, concrete slab-on-grade, wood framing, wall and ceiling
insulation, gypsum board, wall finishes, epoxy flooring, suspended
ceiling, storefront system, roll-up doors, doors, frames & hardware,
stucco, roofing, interior and exterior painting, and kitchen
equipment & refrigeration. Refinish, stripe, and seal the existing
wood flooring in the gymnasium. Install new fire sprinklers
throughout the entire building. Site work to include concrete
walkways, driveways, AC paving, seal coat, stripping, fencing &
CMU enclosure.
The work shall be performed within the following
time frame: (180 days) June 30, 2025

This project requires Pre-Qualification. The pre-qualification
application is available through the District's website.
A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference and site visit will be
held on October 27, 2025, at 9:00 am, at Denair Elementary Charter
School – 3773 Madera Avenue, Denair, CA 95316
The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per
diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed
to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements
for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California.
COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject
to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the
Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor
Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining
agreements relating to the work are on file and available
for inspection in the office of the California Department
of Industrial Relations, Division of the Labor Statistics
and Research, 455 Golden State Avenue, San Francisco,
CA 94102, (415-703-4780), <http:/www.dir.ca.gov/dlsr>
In compliance with SB 854, no Contractor or subcontractor
may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project
unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations
pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited
exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under
Labor Code section 1771.1(a)].
In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded
a contract for public work on a public works project unless
registered with the Department of Industrial Relations
pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
A valid Type B, Contractors License will be required.
Bids must be returned in a sealed envelope, identified
by the bid title "Denair Unified School District –
Denair Elementary Charter School – New Kitchen &
HVAC at the Existing Gym Building "M" & Site Work"
and bearing the name and address of the proposer.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids
and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless
otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its
bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening.
