BY THE COUNCIL CORLESS, HALLYBURTON,
MORALES, NASH, STEAD AND WILLITS.
AN ORDINANCE (ZOA25-00004) AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 7, SECTION 2, BOISE CITY CODE TO ADD LIVE/WORK AS AN ALLOWED USE WITHIN CERTAIN SUBDISTRICTS OF THE BARBER VALLEY SPECIFIC PLAN AREA; TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM DWELLING UNITS PER ACRE WITHIN THE SP02-0C SUBDISTRICT OF THE BARBER VALLEY SPECIFIC PLAN AREA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Boise City has conducted notice and hearing pursuant to the procedures and requirements of title 67, chapter 65, Idaho Code and title 11, chapter 5 of Boise City Code; and,
WHEREAS, the Boise City Planning & Zoning Commission on July 14, 2025, held a public hearing on application ZOA25-00004 and recommended approval; and,
WHEREAS, the Boise City Council on August 19, 2025, held a public hearing on application ZOA25-00004 and approved the proposed title 11, chapter 7 section 2 amendments as shown in Exhibit A.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BOISE CITY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That existing Boise City Code Title 11, Chapter 7, Section 2 shall be, and hereby is amended with the modification of Table 11-07.8: USES ALLOWED IN SUB-DISTRICTS with the addition of "Live/Work" as an allowed use within the SP02-OMR and SP02-OC sub-districts as shown in Exhibit A, and to modify Table 11-07.9 LOT AND STRUCTURE DIMENSIONS IN SUB-DISTRICTS with a change to the maximum dwelling units per acre within the SP02-OC Sub District from 0 to 1 unit per acre as shown in Exhibit A.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon its passage, approval, and publication.
