Notice of Availability of a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Concourse A Phase III Expansion at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
The proposed expansion would include the expansion of Concourse A, expansion of the Concourse D/E Connector, and reconfiguration of Concourse C gates. This notice and opportunity for public involvement is pursuant to FAA Order 1050.1G, Environmental Impacts: Policies and Procedures, and FAA Order 5050.4B, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Implementing Instructions for Airport Actions.
A Public Information Meeting can be held if an interest is presented to address the Proposed Action, potential economic, social, and environmental impacts, and the project's consistency with the goals and objectives of the area's land use or planning strategy. Should anyone wish to attend a Public Information Meeting on this Proposed Action or submit a comment on the proposed development please state your request or comment in writing to:

Written requests for a Public Information Meeting will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) October 31, 2025.
The Draft EA is available for public review until November 17, 2025, during normal business hours at the CLT Center, 5601 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28208. This Draft EA is also available online at: https://www.airportprojects.net/clt-cap-iii-ea/. Copies of the Draft EA have also been provided to relevant Federal, state, and local agencies.
