Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Zoning Board of Appeals of St. Clair County, Illinois, on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 6:45 P.M. in the County Board Room, 5th Floor, St. Clair County Building, #10 Public Square, Belleville, Illinois, at which time and place the Board will consider the proposed variation to the County Zoning Ordinance as follows:
To consider a request for a Special Use Permit to allow a 3.3 MW Commercial Solar Energy System with an approximate project size of 16.55-acres on 18.78-acres in an "A" Agricultural Industry Zone District, on the following described property: The North 20-acres of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 16, T. 2 N., R. 7 W., of the 3rd P.M., St. Clair County, Illinois containing 18.78-acres more or less. (PIN # 04-16.0-200-007)
Which is known as 905 Scott Troy Road, Lebanon, Illinois, in O'Fallon Township.
Said request was made by Daniel M. Hocher TR, 8147 County Line Road, Collinsville, Illinois, Owner and Green Solar 8, LLC, 125 Wolf Road Ste 312, Colonie, New York, Applicants.
All persons desiring to appear for or against said petition may appear at said hearing and be heard thereon.
