NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) Regional Safety Action Plan: Safe Streets for All (SS4A) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a Regional Safety Action Plan and associated deliverables to meet the requirements of the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) program. TRPC is leading this project in partnership with Thurston County, the cities of Lacey, Olympia, Rainier, Tenino, Tumwater, and Yelm, and the Town of Bucoda, focusing on the local transportation network they operate. Other stakeholders include Intercity Transit, school districts, and the Nisqually Indian Tribe. WSDOT, Washington State Patrol, and local law enforcement will also be partners to support coordination and implementation. The project will also develop ADA Transition Plans for Tenino, Rainier, and Bucoda. TRPC, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
