Patrick Matthews Has applied for a permit from South Carolina Department of Environmental Services Bureau of Coastal Management to Work: On the existing dock, to propose as after-the-fact the 4' x 40' walkway and the 20' x 20' pierhead. To propose to add handrails to the walkway and a roof to the pierhead. To relocate the existing 10' x 20' floating dock and add an additional 10' x 14' floating dock to the existing. To add an 8' x 18' drive-on floating boat storage structure to the landward side of the relocated floating dock. To add a new 3' x 24' ramp, 3' x 24' catwalk, and a 12' x 13' covered boatlift. To propose as after-the-fact, the existing 16.2 long by 2.5' high cinder block wall and the existing 69' long by 6' wide rip-rap rock revetment for a total of 85.22'.To propose to add an additional 119' long by 4' high portion of rip-rap rock revetment. The purpose of the dock is for private and recreational use. The purpose of the rip-rap rock revetment and cinder block wall is for erosion control at 7599 Patterson Road, Beaufort SC 29906. Comments regarding this application must be received by the Department on or before October 23, 2025 at 1911 Boundary Street, Suite 104, Beaufort SC 29902
