NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY PROJECT APPROVAL MADERA COUNTY PARCEL MAP COMMITTEE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Parcel Map Committee of the County of Madera, State of California, has approved the Notice of Exemption for the following project: The application of Jim Kopshever, for a Tentative Parcel Map (PM #4334), which would divide approximately 157 acres of ARE-40 (Agricultural, Rural, Exclusive 40 acre minimum) zoned property into two parcels of 77 acres and 79 acres. The project is located on the southeast corner of Avenue 22 ½ and Road 7. A Notice of Exemption has been prepared for the project in compliance with provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is available for public review at the Madera County Planning Department. Written comments concerning the Parcel Map or appeals may be submitted to the Madera County Planning Division until October 20, 2025, which will be the end of a 10-day review/comment period.
