PUBLIC NOTICE Penny P. Hinton has applied to the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services, Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to remove the existing 10'x12' pier head and 3'x5' extension. Propose to construct a 4'x34' walkway with handrails extension channel ward of existing 4'x30' walkway leading to a 10'x12' pier head. Located to the right side of the pier head will be a 4'x26' ramp attached to a 6'x20' floating dock. Located to the left side of the pier head will be a 12'x13' 4 pile boatlift. Also propose to construct a 4'x90' bulkhead with a 10' return 18" channelward of the BCM critical line. Bulkhead will tie into the existing right adjacent bulkhead. Dock will be for private recreational use and bulkhead will be for erosion control at 471 Tarpon Blvd, Fripp Island, Beaufort County, on and adjacent to the Fripp Canal.
