Take notice that pleadings seeking relief against you have been filed in the above-entitled civil action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows the condemnation and appropriation, for highway purposes, of a certain interests or estates in that certain parcel of land lying and being in those certain lands lying and being in the St. Mary's Township, Wake County, North Carolina, and being more particularly described as follows:
Being that land described in a deed executed October 18, 1966 to J. J. Coats and wife, Elaine E. Coats, and recorded August 25, 1967 in Book 1781, Page 100, Wake County Registry. The property description contained in said deed is hereby incorporated by reference. Also, being that vacant land identified as Tax PIN No. 1730-74-3406 (REID No. 0013629) containing approximately 0.550 acre and being described as "LO3A W H GODWIN SUB" and said land is located along US Highway 70 East, and may have an assigned physical address of 2028 US Highway 70 East, in Garner, NC, as is shown in the Wake County Tax Office.
You are hereby required to make defense to such pleadings not later than the 20th day of November 2026, and upon your failure to do so, the party seeking service against you will apply to the Court for the relief sought
