ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Martin County Water District, a public water district organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, is accepting sealed bids for insurance coverage for the District's property, infrastructure, trailers, vehicles, and equipment, as described in the District's insurance coverage schedule. Sealed bids will be received until 5:00 PM (EST), Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Martin County Water District office, 387 E Main St, Suite 140, Inez, KY 41224. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 6:00 PM at the regular board meeting of the Martin County Water District at the Martin County Government Center (2nd Floor), 42 E Main St, Inez, KY 41224. Bid specifications, including a schedule of property, infrastructure, vehicles, trailers, and equipment to be insured, may be obtained from the Martin County Water District Office at 387 E Main St, Suite 140, Inez, KY 41224, or by email at hproctor@alliancewater.com. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "INSURANCE BID – MARTIN COUNTY WATER DISTRICT" on the outside. The Martin County Water District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the ratepayers.
