NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ALL INTERESTED CITIZENS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN THE CITY OF ARLINGTON, TEXAS
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the Arlington Landmark Preservation Commission (LPC) will conduct a public hearing at City Hall, 101 W. Abram Street, Council Briefing Room (third floor), Arlington, TX 76010.
The purpose of these public hearings is to receive input from the owner(s) and/or representative(s) and/or other interested parties regarding the historic and/or architectural significance to the community of the structure(s) located at 206 N. West Street. During the public hearings, the LPC will entertain discussion(s) from the owner(s) and/or representative(s) and/or other interested parties regarding plans to demolish these structures. At the end of the public hearing, the LPC will decide if this structure is historically and/or architecturally significant and whether or not to approve the demolition permit(s).
There will also be public hearings to receive input from interested parties regarding the proposed building site alterations to 1225 California Lane and exterior alterations to 404 E. First Street. At the conclusion of the public hearings, if LPC decides that the proposed improvements are appropriate to the structures and their historical integrity, a Certificate of Appropriateness will be issued.
