NOTICE TO BIDDERS The St. Clair Township, St. Clair, County, Illinois, will receive sealed bids for the construction of the CENTENNIAL PARK CULVERT REPLACEMENT until 10:00 a.m. on October 21, 2025 at the St. Clair Township office at 107 Service Street, Swansea, IL 62226. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on October 21, 2025. The sealed bids must be delivered to St. Clair Township, during regular business hours, prior to the stated bid opening time. There will be no charge for emailed bidding documents, but a $100 non-refundable fee will be charged for paper copies of the bidding documents. St. Clair Township is looking for qualified contractors to purchase, deliver and install a corrugated metal pipe culverts and stone riprap at several locations under the aggregate walking trail located in Centennial Park located 311 North Belt East, Swansea, IL 62226. It is intended to have this project funded through St. Clair County Parks Grant Commission – Funding Cycle 31 assuming the Township is successful in securing a grant. The contractor is responsible for making a site visit to determine necessary access, clearing and subsequent repairs to the walking trail after the culverts are installed. If funds are available the Township is also interested in making improvements to a section of their asphalt walking trail, which is deteriorated.
