Public Notice UPCOMING Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) Public Community Workshop for the North Corridor Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Master Plan Notice is hereby given that Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has scheduled a Public Community Workshop regarding the North Corridor Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Master Plan for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Sherbondy Village Community Center, located at 215 Perviz Avenue, Opa- Locka, FL 33054. The workshop will be conducted as a brief presentation of the proposed project, including visioning and identifying potential improvements as well as considerations for social, cultural, and economic development opportunities along the corridor, followed by a workshop session for feedback from those in attendance. Our goal for the meeting is to be informative, interactive, and collaborative. NOTE: All meeting materials, including the presentation, will be available on the project website after the public community workshop by going to www.miamidade.gov/smartprogram and clicking on the “North Corridor” link found on the right side of the page. or visit miamidade.gov/transportation/smart-plan-north-corridor. The workshop aims to collaboratively identify the vision and implementation steps that will shape the future of the North Corridor, ensuring the economic and urban development strategies for the surrounding community align with residents’ needs and aspirations.
