CITY OF FIFE, WASHINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Fife City Council will be conducting a public hearing on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 6:00pm to consider expansion of the city's residential target area (RTA) boundary, part of the multi-family property tax exemption (MFTE) program, authorized under RCW 84.14, as well as associated amendments to Chapter 3.95 of the Fife Municipal Code. The proposed RTA will expand the boundary of the current RTA to align with the boundary of Fife's City Center which has the approximate boundaries of 51st Avenue E (west), 12th Street E (north), east of 62nd Avenue E (east), and 23rd Street E (south). The meeting can be attended in person at Fife City Hall, Council Chambers, 5411 23rd Street E., or remotely via a digital online meeting platform.
