Public Hearing for the Davidson Baptist Chapel (former)/Armour Street Theatre The public will take notice that the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Davidson will hold a public hearing during the Board's regularly scheduled meeting at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th day of October, 2025, at the Davidson Town Hall and Community Center Board Room, located at 251 South Street, Davidson, NC, and that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th day of October, 2025, in Room 266 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East 4th St, Charlotte. Both hearings focus on the question of designating as a historic landmark the property known as the "Davidson Baptist Chapel," including the exterior of the building and the land listed under Tax Parcel Numbers 00327565, 00327507, and 00327511 in the Mecklenburg County Tax Office. Said property is owned by the Town of Davidson, and is located at 307 Armour St, Davidson, NC.
