NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing will be held at the Pontoon Beach Village Hall, located at #1 Regency Parkway, Pontoon Beach, Illinois, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the hour of 4:00 p.m. in regard to a request for a Use-Variance and Special Use Permit. These requests have been filed by Horseshoe Kelly 1, LLC and Horseshoe Kelly 2, LLC, the applicants, requesting a Zoning Use-Variance and Special Use Permit. The Zoning Use-Variance is requested for the following: (1) a variance from Village Ordinance Section 34-5-20 through 34-5-23 Street Improvement Standards. The Special Use Permit is requested for the following: (2) to facilitate the construction and operation of a Commercial Solar Energy Facility in an Agriculturally zoned district.
