CITY OF HIALEAH NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION PRIMARY ELECTION AND SPECIAL ELECTION: NOVEMBER 4, 2025 GENERAL ELECTION (RUN-OFF), if necessary: DECEMBER 9, 2025 Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2025-016 and 2025-017, both adopted on February 25, 2025, by the City Council of the City of Hialeah, Florida, and in accordance with Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given of a city-wide Special Election in the City of Hialeah on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 to elect two Councilmembers, Groups numbered III and IV. The Special Election is being held in conjunction with a Primary Election to elect a Mayor and two Councilmembers, Groups numbered VI and VII. Furthermore, notice is hereby given of a General Election to be held in the City of Hialeah, if a run-off election is necessary, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and will close at 7:00 p.m. All qualified electors of the City of Hialeah are eligible to cast their vote. The voting registration book closing date for the Primary Election and the Special Election is on Monday, October 6, 2025, and the voting registration book closing date for the General Election, if a run-off election is necessary, is on Monday, November 10, 2025. The elections will be conducted in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Florida Statutes, as they relate to Primary and General Elections, as well as the Charter and Code of the City of Hialeah.
