PERMIT APPLICATION Clariant Corporation, 11701 Mount Holly Road, Charlotte, NC 28214, has requested a renewal of NPDES wastewater permit (NC0004375) for its Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Mecklenburg County. The facility discharges domestic wastewater to the Catawba River, a class CA, WS-IV water in the Catawba River Basin. Some parameters are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Catawba River.
