MACON-BIBBCOUNTYPROCUREMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDDERS 26-017-LH Paving The Way Project 7 Sealed Bids will be received by the Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department for INVITATION FOR BIDS (26-017-LH] for PAVING THE WAY PROJECT 7 for designated roads within Macon-Bibb County. Work includes furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services necessary for the completed milling, resurfacing, and striping. The Macon-Bibb County Procurement Department will receive sealed bids for the above- described project until 12:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the Procurement Department, Suite 308 in the Macon-Bibb County City Hall at 700 Poplar Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER SUCH DESIGNATED TIME. All Bids must be submitted with one (1) original copy and one (1) flash drive copy of the bid documents. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the total base bid. Bids will be opened and read publicly at 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the Board of Commissioners Chambers in Macon-Bibb County City Hall. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in the Board of Commissioner Chambers, at Macon-Bibb County City Hall. If the bid is accepted, the successful bidder shall enter into a contract with Macon-Bibb County for performance of the above-described services and furnish payment and performance bonds to the County in amounts equal to the total contract price, in accordance with Georgia law. Payments made under any award arising from this Invitation for Bid will be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of invoice. Macon-Bibb County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received; and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to Macon-Bibb County at the time and under the conditions stipulated.
