This proposal would change the Rural Comprehensive Plan designation to UGA and UGA Reserve. This proposal would modify the Whatcom County Comprehensive Plan as part of the periodic update required by the Growth Management Act. Associated modifications to the County zoning map and text will also be considered. - Open Space Application – Every 6 months, staff at Planning & Development Services (PDS) present Open Space Land applications to the Planning Commission and County Council.
