NOTICE OF ELECTION WAKE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA The municipal general election for Town of Angier, Town of Apex, Town of Cary, City of Durham, Town of Fuquay-Varina, Town of Garner, Town of Holly Springs, Town of Knightdale, Town of Morrisville, Town of Rolesville, Town of Wake Forest, Town of Wendell, and Town of Zebulon will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Voters will be asked to show photo ID when they vote. All voters will be allowed to vote with or without ID. Voters who lack ID can get one for free from their county board of elections. Find out more at ncsbe.gov/voter-id. Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. Early voting will be held from Thursday, October 16, 2025, to Saturday, November 1, 2025. A voter can fill out an absentee ballot request at votebymail.ncsbe.gov, or by filling out a request form provided by the board of elections. Registered voters who live within the boundaries of Town of Angier, Town of Apex, Town of Cary, City of Durham, Town of Fuquay-Varina, Town of Garner, Town of Holly Springs, Town of Knightdale, Town of Morrisville, Town of Rolesville, Town of Wake Forest, Town of Wendell, and Town of Zebulon may vote in the municipal election. Municipal contests include the mayor and members of the municipality's governing board. The voter registration deadline for this election is 5 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025.
