CITY OF ROCK HILL PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY OF ROCK HILL ZONING ORDINANCE The City of Rock Hill Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider recommendations to City Council on proposed amendments to the City of Rock Hill Zoning Ordinance at their meeting on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 155 Johnston Street. The proposed amendments to be heard and considered for recommendation to City Council are: MAP AMENDMENTS M-2025-14 Petition by Josiah Pott (Forsberg, LLC) to annex and rezone approximately 1.42 acres at an unaddressed parcel located at the corner of Nations Ford and Huey Roads from Urban Development (UD) in York County to Industry General (IG). Tax Parcel 664-00-00-029. M-2025-15 Petition by James Hill (The Warren Norman Company) to rezone approximately 3.38 acres at 2334 and 2362 Celanese Rd. from Multi Family-15 (MF-15) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC). Tax Parcel 636-02-02-001. M-2025-16 Petition by Natalie and Dylon Brown to rezone approximately 3.38 acres at 1408 Mt. Holly Rd. from Single Family-3 (SF-3) to Rural (RU). Tax Parcel 619-01-01-021.
