2025-ITB-022 Delivery of Magnesium Hydroxide Slurry SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this bid is to purchase 60% Magnesium Hydroxide for the Cascadia Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will use it to neutralize wastewater, adjust pH levels, and supplement alkalinity. PROJECT ESTIMATE: There will be (1) contract awarded to (1) responsive/responsible bidder. Initial contract amount is estimated to be $40,000.00, not including WA State Sales Tax: The County reserves the right to add funds as needed throughout the duration of this contract. HOLDER'S LIST: BIDDERS WHO REGISTER AND DOWNLOAD BID DOCUMENTS will be automatically added to the bidder's list in the Project List (opengov. com). Notifications for bid updates, addenda and other bid information will be sent to all bidders who register with Pierce County OPENGOV and are a 'Bidder' under this bid number. PRE-BID QUESTIONS: All questions must be submitted within the Pierce County OPENGOV no later than 9/26/2025 at 4:00 PM PDT/PST. Bidders must be registered in the OPENGOV software in order to submit questions. Oral explanations, interpretations, or instructions given by anyone before award of a contract will not be binding on the County. COMPLETION TIME: Initial Contract Period will be (1) year, commencing from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with the option to renew for an additional (4) years. Total contract time is not to exceed (5) years.
