NOTICE: ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT TO THE LAND Application Permit No. ST0501276 Applicant: Perdue Foods, LLC – Lynden Hatchery 6323 Guide Meridian Lynden, Whatcom County Perdue Foods, LLC has reapplied for a State Waste Discharge permit, in accordance with the provisions of Washington State Water Pollution Control Act Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington, Chapter 173-216 Washington Administrative Code and the Federal Clean Water Act. Following evaluation of the application and other available information, a draft permit has been developed which would authorize the permittee to apply process wastewater to the designated land treatment site via spray irrigation not to exceed the agronomic rates for nitrogen and water. A final determination will not be made until all timely comments received in response to this notice have been evaluated.
