HANCOCK COUNTY UTILITY AUTHORITY SOUTHERN REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADE ADVERTISEMENT - REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES Sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received by the Hancock County Utility Authority at 401 Gulfside Street, Waveland, MS 39576, until 2:00 p.m., October 21, 2025, for Professional Engineering Services, as described below: Engineering services for work related to the Hancock County Utility Authority Southern Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project, with funding provided through the Gulf of Mexico Energy Securities Act (GOMESA), administered by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources. Engineering services will include contract documents, bidding, construction and basic services, construction observation and engineering program management components relative to the GOMESA funding requirements. The selected firm shall provide engineering services related to the scope of work described. The anticipated project implementation components will be refined in the engineering and design phase. The proposed project anticipates the refurbishment of two clarifier, the purchase of four (4) effluent pumps with control panel, the purchase of two (2) gear drives on the Aeration tanks and the purchase of various other motors, pumps and components to upgrade the Southern Facility. Also included will be the upgrading of electrical components such as Drives, PLC's, etc. at the Northern Regional WWTP. Information packets will be located at the address listed above, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Engineering firms/individuals should submit a list of their qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. Firms/Individuals must submit the name of the primary contact person and the person within the firm (if applicable) who shall be the Owner's contact and party primarily responsible for rendering services, if selected. Contract selections will be in accordance with the federal regulatory requirements of GOMESA funding, including without limitation those of 2 CFR 200.300, et seq. Any contract issued will include the contractual requirements of 2 CFR 200.318-327. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to submit a statement of qualifications and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities. When subcontracting, all potential contractors must make positive efforts to use small and minority owned business and women business enterprises. See 2. C. F. R. §200.321.
