PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE U.S.DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) FISCAL YEAR 2025 ACTION PLAN AND CORRESPONDING 2025-2029 CONSOLIDATED PLAN FOR THE ALLOCATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM INCOME FUNDS The Housing Committee of the Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing for actions described below on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Subsequently, final action by the full Board of County Commissioners may be considered on Tuesday October 21, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Both meetings will be held inside Board of County Commission Chambers located on the second level of the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33128. The purpose of the hearing is to give the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed Substantial Amendment with funding recommendations for CDBG program income. The public shall have an opportunity to comment on the following proposed action; Approve a substantial amendment to the HUD FY 2025 Action Plan and Corresponding FY 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan in order to Allocate a total of up to $1,069,962.27 in Fiscal Year 2025 CDBG Program Income funds for rehabilitation and/or redevelopment of public housing sites. The proposed Substantial Amendment will be available for review online at https://www.miamidade.gov/ global/housing/notices.page and at the following locations: Department of Housing and Community Development 701 NW 1st Court, 16th Floor, Miami, Florida 33136 The public is invited to attend and comment.
