PUBLIC NOTICE – BEACON NURSING CARE, LLC PUBLIC NOTICE Beacon Nursing Care, LLC hereby gives public notice of its intent to submit an application for a Certificate of Need (CON) to the South Carolina Department of Public Health, pursuant to Regulation 61-15 of the South Carolina Code of Regulations. We are applying to the following counties for Home Health Agency Services: Kershaw County, Sumter County, Florence County, Darlington County, Dillon County, Marion County, and Horry County. Scope and Nature of the Project Beacon Nursing Care, LLC proposes to establish a licensed Home Health Agency that will provide both skilled and non-skilled nursing services. Qualified nurses and nurse aides will deliver care. These services will include medication management and other skilled nursing care, such as wound care management, intravenous (IV) therapy and injections, catheter and feeding tube care, and management of chronic health conditions. Additionally, the agency will provide medical and social support services aimed at enhancing patients' health, safety, and overall quality of life. The goal of the project is to expand access to professional, home-based healthcare, allowing patients to receive comprehensive services in their residences rather than in nursing facilities or assisted living centers.
