Cedarcrest Middle School Replacement – SEPA Environmental Checklist Notice of Availability and Comment Period for SEPA Environmental Checklist for the Demolition and Replacement of the Cedarcrest Middle School, Bethel School District The Bethel School District has issued the State Environmental Policy (SEPA) Environmental Checklist for the demolition and replacement of the Cedarcrest Middle School located at 19120 13th Avenue Court East, Spanaway, 98387 in the Bethel School District. The Bethel School District issued a SEPA Environmental Checklist on September 11, 2025 under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11-WAC) for the Demolition and Replacement of the Cedarcrest Middle School. The project will construct a new approx. 121,000 square foot, 3-story school building on the existing 22.81 acre site. Traffic improvements will be required by Pierce County Planning and Public Works. A copy of the SEPA Environmental Checklist and the Notice of Availability of the SEPA Environmental Checklist are attached.
