Public Notice Walter Oliver has applied to South Carolina Department of Enviromental Services, Bureau of Coastal Management for a permit to remove the existing dock. To construct a new dock with a 4' x 132' walkway with handrails leading to a 12.5' x 16' covered pierhead with water and electricity. Located to the ebb side of the pierhead will be a 3' x 32' elevated catwalk with a 12' x 13' 4-pile boatlift with a 12.5' x 32' roof on the landward side. A second 12' x 13' 4-pile boatlift will be added on the channelward side of the catwalk. Channel-ward of the pierhead will be a 10' x 30' floating dock attached by a 3' x 30' ramp. Additionally, to proposed as after-the-fact, the existing rip-rap rock revetment, 165.90' long and approximately 5' high within critical area. The purpose of the dock is for private and recreational use, and the purpose of the rip-rap rock revetment is for erosion control.
