PIERCE COUNTY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL JANITORIAL SERVICES 2025-RFP-042 SCOPE OF WORK: Seeking a selection of highly qualified contractors to provide janitorial services to various Pierce County buildings. This RFP seeks to award multiple Countywide Subcontracts to a selection of highly qualified contractors with competitive pricing structures, capacity and qualifications. This work shall comply with all requirements, including prevailing wages. EXPECTED TERM OF RESULTING AGREEMENT: - The expected term of the Countywide Subcontracts will be twelve (12) months with four (4) optional annual renewals. The term of any Subcontract executed pursuant to this Contract shall be set forth in the subcontract. - All terms and conditions contained in a Countywide Subcontract shall survive the expiration or termination of this Contract for so long as any subcontract entered under a Countywide Subcontract is still in effect and shall apply to such subcontract. PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTS & RFP HOLDER'S LIST: Bidders who register and download bid documents will be automatically added to the bidder's list in OpenGov. Notifications for bid updates, addendums and other bid information will be sent to all bidders registered with OpenGov and are a 'Bidder' under this bid number. PROCUREMENT QUESTIONS: All questions must be submitted through OpenGov no later than September 19th, 2025, 4:00 PM PDT, 7 days prior to the RFP due date and time. Proposers must be registered with OpenGov to submit questions. BID NOTES: - All selected bidders may be required to provide references that demonstrate their ability to serve Pierce County prior to award. Failure to provide references when requested or references not demonstrating their ability to service the needs of Pierce County may result in your bid being deemed non-responsible. - Oral explanations, interpretations, or instructions given by anyone before the award of a contract will not be binding on the County. - The Contractor is responsible for all Taxes, Fees, and Insurance costs for this Project. All costs, except sales tax, must be included in the unit bid prices. - Proposals must be received by Procurement & Contract Services in the Pierce County Finance Department before September 26th, 2025, 1:00 PM PDT.
