PIERCE COUNTY REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL REBID NEW TRASH COMPACTOR SUPPLY AND INSTALL 2025-ITB-194 SCOPE OF WORK: Seeking a qualified contractor to furnish, install and commission on (1) new trash compactor unit at Pierce County Administrative office located at 1501 market Street, Tacoma, WA. This scope includes removal and lawful disposal of existing equipment. This work shall comply with all requirements, including prevailing wages. PLANHOLDER'S LIST: BIDDERS WHO REGISTER AND DOWNLOAD BID DOCUMENTS will be automatically added to the FOLLOWER'S list in the County's E-Procurement Portal. Notifications for bid updates, addenda, and other bid information will be sent to all bidders who register on the Pierce County E-Procurement Portal. BID QUESTIONS DUE DATE: All questions must be submitted within the County's E-Procurement Portal under the Questions and Answers section no later than 4:00 PM PS/DT on 9/12/2025. Bidders must be registered in the E-Procurement Portal software to submit questions, receive addenda, notifications, and ultimately submit a proposal. BID DUE DATE: Proposals must be received by Procurement & Contract Services in the Pierce County Finance Department before 1:00 PM PST/PDT on 9/19/2025. The proposer is responsible for submission of proposal before the deadline. The County shall not be responsible for late submittals. BID NOTES: The successful low bidder may be required to provide references that demonstrate their ability to serve Pierce County prior to award. Failure to provide references when requested or references not demonstrating their ability to service the needs of Pierce County may result in your bid being deemed non-responsible.
