NEW CONSTRUCTION REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NeighborWorks® Columbus announces a Request For Qualifications (RFQ) from bidders. This RFQ establishes a pool of licensed contractors for bidding opportunities on 11 CHIP-Funded (Georgia Department of Community Affairs) new construction activities (single-family Muscogee County residential scattered sites). This advertised RFQ refers to pre-qualification of the contractor procurement process. Those who meet these qualification criteria will be included in the upcoming Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation stage and will be invited at a later time to submit a bid on each house individually. The 11 houses will be constructed in stages occurring over the next 3 years, and all activities must be closed out prior to August 31, 2028. You may respond to this RFQ by submitting your contractor qualifications with the documents listed below. Respondents are encouraged to submit qualification packages promptly. Responses (with all documents attached) may be submitted via e-mail to kwilson@nwcolumbus.org. A Bid Summary Sheet will be created for each bidder after all bids are submitted on a house. A Bid Control Sheet will be created providing a summary of bids relative to one another, as well as reflecting names of any attendees who choose to attend the Bid Opening. Bid Openings are open to the public, although attendance by bidders is not mandatory. Copies of the following documentation must be submitted with your response qualification package.
