NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Ferndale will hold a public hearing to consider the proposed zoning text amendment described below. Pursuant to Section 14.15.050 of the Ferndale Municipal Code the following notice is provided to inform the community of the pending hearing.
Notice is hereby given that the City of Ferndale is holding a public hearing by the Planning Commission beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The meeting will be held at the City Hall Annex Building, 5694 Second Avenue, Ferndale. For virtual access, visit https://wa-ferndale.civicplus.com/174/Planning-Commission. Written comments should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on the date preceding the meeting.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The City of Ferndale is making amendments to Titles 5, 16, 17, and 18 of the Ferndale Municipal Code as part of the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update. This periodic update involves revising outdated code provisions, relocating certain sections to more appropriate chapters, and aligning the code with current
Washington State update requirements and regulatory guidance.
REQUESTED ACTIONS:
The applicant requests a recommendation of approval from the Planning
Commission to the City Council.
