LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS The Gulfport – Biloxi Regional Airport Authority (GPT) is requesting written proposals to provide solid waste collection and disposal services for the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport in Gulfport, MS. Sealed Proposals will be received at the office of the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority on the 3rd floor of the Terminal Building at 14035-L Airport Road, Gulfport, MS 39503 until 10:00 AM, October 7, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following work described in the detailed Request for Proposals and specifications: Solid Waste Collection and Disposal In order to be considered, a proposal must be sealed, and have clearly written on the face of the envelope the following: "SEALED PROPOSAL ENCLOSED FOR GULFPORT-BILOXI REGIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY SOLID WASTE COLLECTION & DISPOSAL 10:00 AM, OCTOBER 7, 2025." All bidders shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations applicable. The Request for Proposal and the detailed specifications and Bid Forms are available from the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority at the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, 14035-L Airport Road, Gulfport, MS 39503 on request at no charge. Prior to submitting submittals, proposers shall visit the site of work to be performed to familiarize itself with the existing conditions and project site. The Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority will receive proposals from firms having specific experience and qualifications in the area identified in the solicitation. For consideration, proposals for the projects must contain evidence of the firm's responsibility, experience, and abilities in the specified area and other disciplines directly related to the proposed service. As provided in further detail in the Request for Proposal, factors to be considered in awarding this contract include, but are not limited to the price; proposer's ability to provide the required services as reflected/evidenced by qualifications, experience, references, etc. (responsibility); the personnel, equipment, facilities, and financial resources to perform the services currently available or demonstrated to be made available at the time of contracting; the degree of completeness of response to the specific requirements of the solicitation and overall understanding of the project and its objectives (responsiveness); the overall quality of the proposed plan for performing the required services. Proposals will be awarded within 30 days of the proposal opening date. The Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority also reserves the right to inspect all equipment and materials offered by the bidder and to reject any proposal that does not meet the specifications or comply with the invitation for proposals. Upon acceptance of a proposal, the Airport Authority will execute a mutually agreeable contract to provide solid waste collection and disposal. A copy of the RFP and proposal response will be an exhibit to that contract. The Airport Authority also reserves the right to waive any and all formality in the best interest of the Gulfport-Biloxi Regional Airport Authority.
