FINAL MDNS SkyNRG Sustainable Aviation Fuel production facility The Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) is issuing a final Mitigated Determination of NonSignificance (MDNS) for a proposed Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) production facility (Project) on approximately 165 acres at the Wallula Gap Business Park in Walla Walla County. Due to the Project's on-site fuel storage capacity, Ecology is the lead agency under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA). In coordination with Walla Walla County Community Development Department, Ecology issued a draft MDNS on May 10, 2025 for a 30-day comment period, which corresponded with the comment period on Walla Walla County's Critical Areas Permit. Based on Ecology's review of the Environmental Checklist and associated appendices, identified conditions and mitigation measures, and in consideration of comments received on the draft MDNS, Ecology is issuing a final MDNS for this proposal. The comment period for this MDNS is 14 days. Comments are due by September 18, 2025.
