CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA CITY COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Anna Maria City Commission will hold a public hearing on September 25, 2025, at 5:01 P.M. or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The hearings will be at City Hall of the City of Anna Maria, 10005 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Florida 34216, to consider the following proposed ordinance: ORDINANCE NO. 25-950 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA, MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ADOPTED IN FURTHERANCE OF THE REQUIREMENT SET FORTH IN SECTION 3.09f, OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF ANNA MARIA, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF NOT EXCEEDING $4,075,000 PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT REVENUE NOTE, SERIES 2025, OF THE CITY TO FINANCE AND/OR REIMBURSE THE COSTS OF DESIGN, PERMITTING, ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION AND EQUIPPING OF VARIOUS HURRICANE-RELATED CAPITAL PROJECTS INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION REPAIR AND RENOVATION OF THE CITY PIER AND STORMWATER REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF THE SERIES 2025 NOTE FROM CERTAIN NON AD VALOREM REVENUES DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF PRIOR INCONSISTENT ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard regarding the adoption of the Ordinance. Copies of the proposed Ordinance are on file at the City of Anna Maria City Hall at 10005 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, FL 34216 and may be reviewed by the public between the hours of 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays. If any person decides to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at such meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
