CITY OF HASLET ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for FM156 – 1.0MG GROUND STORAGE TANK project will be received by the City of Haslet, addressed to the City Secretary, at 101 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052, until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 and then publicly opened and read aloud in the Community Room at 105 Main Street, Haslet, Texas 76052. The project consists of furnishing and installing a new 1.0MG ground-supported, flat-bottom, ground storage tank, generally with the dimensions of 75' diameter and 32' height. The website administrator will then make files accessible to the proposer. Hard copies may be obtained at the above location upon a refundable deposit of $75 for each set. Deposits shall be refunded if the plans and specifications are returned to Belcheff & Associates, Inc., in useable condition within 10-days of the bid opening. The OWNER further intends to order the preparation of material submittals and manufacturer prepared shop drawings, review and approve same, and authorize fabrication and assembly of a welded steel ground storage tank. After fabrication and assembly has begun and before delivery, OWNER intends to enter into a separate contract with a general construction contractor for installation of the equipment. The OWNER has determined that utilizing this procurement method should result in expediting the overall project completion time for the "FM156 5.76 MGD Pump Station Improvements" project and while also providing the City of Haslet with the best value in securing long-lead manufactured equipment. The City reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Notice to Bidders. The successful proposer shall (when requested) demonstrate adequate and substantial documented experience in the disciplines necessary for providing the equipment for the project.
