NOTICE OF ELECTION The Municipal Election for The Town of Bluffton will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Any person wishing to vote in this election must register no later than: In Person: Friday, October 3, 2025, by 5:00 pm By Email, Fax, or Online: Sunday, October 5, 2025, by 11:59 pm By mail: Postmarked by Monday, October 6, 2025 The early voting period for this election begins on Monday, October 20 and ends on Friday, October 31. The following early voting centers will be open during the early voting period from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26). Voters should remember to bring one of these IDs with them to the polling place. Voters without Photo ID can get one free of charge from the Department of Motor Vehicles or their county voter registration office. Voters who encounter an obstacle to getting a Photo ID should bring their paper voter registration card without a photo with them to their polling place. These voters can then sign an affidavit swearing to their identity and to their obstacle to obtaining a Photo ID and vote a provisional ballot. This ballot will count unless the county board of voter registration and elections has grounds to believe the affidavit is false. At 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, the County Board of Voter Registration and Elections will begin its examination of the absentee ballot return envelopes at Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Beaufort County, 15 John Galt Rd, Beaufort, SC 29906 (843) 255-6900. At 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, the Town of Bluffton Board of Canvassers will hold a hearing to determine the validity of all provisional ballots cast in this election. This hearing will be held at Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Beaufort County, 15 John Galt Rd, Beaufort, SC 29906. Any Runoff will be held two weeks after the election on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
