ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WATER DISTRICT NO. 1 OF JOHNSON COUNTY, KANSAS AC-25021 KS PRESED MECHANICAL IMPROVEMENTS SEPTEMBER 12, 2025 General Notice Water District No. 1 of Johnson County, Kansas (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Project listed above. Bids for the construction of the Project will be received via QuestCDN VirtuBid until Thursday, October 16 at 3:00 pm local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of Mechanical HVAC equipment located at the Kansas Presedementation Facility, including one (1) air handling unit, two (2) condensers, one (1) electric duct heater, fan and control damper, one (1) electric unit heater, and new HVAC controls. HVAC controls shall include a network controller, field devices and monitoring, programming of the controller and associated graphics, and updated electrical drawings. All labor for the installation and relocation of equipment, as well as all electrical and piping modifications necessary for their operation shall be part of the Work. Disposal of the old units and parts will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project.
